Easter

What a great day to celebrate our risen Lord and Savior!

We started the night before with curlers and nail polish:
We left eggs out for the Easter bunny to fill and hide.  Emma and Ella had fun finding them this morning.
While counting eggs, Emma realized she had found more eggs than Ella.  So, she voluntarily gathered enough eggs to make it even and gave them to Ella.
The Easter Bunny also gave them each a feather boa.
Our table set for my family to join us for lunch:
A brief photo shoot before worship with my brother and his fiancĂ©, Jennifer, and their church family.  Jennifer was baptized at this morning's service.  Such a special time!

March Madness

Unfotrunately, Emma and Ella both got a stomach bug.
Ella was very proud of the domino tower she built (and her outfit).
Emma wearing a flower girl dress that I wore when I was 5 years old in my cousin, Cherie's wedding.
Entertaining themselves with the iPad while we did some cooking at the church building.  They were hiding from Noah in the pulpit, but he found them.

Church Easter Egg Hunt

Our church had it's annual Easter Egg Hunt today after morning worship.  It was cold and windy outside, so the planner moved the hunt inside.  This is our girls last year to hunt with the little kids.  Our church family is so generous, as you can see in the pictures.  This is just a few of the eggs for the little kids to find, not including the eggs in the big auditorium the elementary age children found.
Ella and Emma collected so many eggs, it became a lesson in stacking.  We ended up getting a bag to help us get all the eggs to the car.
