Ella and Emma

(Pictures taken by Daddy while our professional photographer was taking our pictures.)

Ella loves life and can see the big picture of what's going on around her.  She hates when Emma is sad and will do just about anything to cheer her sister up.  She loves being funny and can frequently be heard singing.

Emma also loves life, but she tends to focus on the details.  She loves to be with her sister playing whatever they can imagine.  She will also do just about anything to cheer Ella up when needed.  She is happy and caring and tender hearted.

Ella and Emma are the best of friends.  They love spending time with each other.  I am so glad God blessed us with our two precious girls.  We are truly blessed!!

Enjoying Birthday Presents

Ella and Emma have gotten up and around early two days in a row to have time to jump on their new trampoline before school, even though its been cold and wet.  Makes my heart happy to see them so happy!

Happy 7th Birthday!

Happy 7th Birthday to our precious girls.
Daddy took lunch to them, then I brought cookies for their classes.
After celebrating at school, Daddy and I came home to put their present together.  The rain made it interesting, but we got it done.
We had dinner at Burger King with family, followed by opening presents at our house.
Then came time to reveal our present. (I still can't believe we managed to keep them from looking out the windows and seeing it before dinner!)
Several took turns trying out the new trampoline.  So very glad the rain cleared up before the big reveal.  It's been a great birthday!

First Grade Field Day

Today was the First Grade Field Day to school.  Their classes had various races in the gym followed by a tug-of-war competition between the classes outside.  I'm so glad I was able to go watch them.  I surprised them by bringing their scooters to ride home from school. (Emma is wearing red shorts; Ella is wearing a white t-shirt with blue writing.)

Dollie and Me Tea Party

Tonight was Ella and Emma's Dollie and Me Tea Party.  We started out with a gift of new matching dresses.
Emma:
Ella:
Bella and Bryann:
Our girls had 5 friends and their dolls attend the party.  They made crowns for themselves and their dolls, ate tea party food (with pink lemonade for the tea), and cupcakes (both kid and doll sized).
Emma didn't like the smell of the candles when she blew them out:
Ella didn't seem to mind:
Then, they opened their presents (lots of doll accessories):
Mommy and Daddy gave them a real china tea set:
Lastly we played "Pin the Crown on the Princess":
After their guests had left, our precious girls had their own private tea party with their dolls using several of their gifts from the evening:
An all around successful party! We loved celebrating Emma and Ella's seventh birthday this evening.
