Finally, a month without our girls being sick.  Hooray!  Here's some random events from this month.

New Swing:

 I was recognized as Volunteer of the Year for the girls' school:

Our Front Porch Renovation

We have spent a good bit of time and a great chunk of energy renovating our front porch, but we think it turned out wonderful!

First a new fence to replace the brick wall:

 Then underlayment where the dirt was exposed:

 Deciding where to put the pavers:

Base Material in place:

 An entire pallet of rock:

 We each took a turn sitting inside the rock cage to help get the rocks out:

Field Trip

Today I had the honor of accompanying our girls on a field trip.  We spent the day at the Discovery Center learning about Outer Space and Grossology: The (Impolite) Science of the Human Body.  They also had a couple of classes to learn about magnets and different kinds of slime.  Ella was kind enough to go around with Emma's class, so we could all be together.  We had a lot of fun, and may have even learned a thing or two.
