Mommy's 39th Birthday

After school, the girls and I celebrated with cupcakes/ cookies.

 Then, Daddy took me out for a fancy dinner, complete with cheesecake.

 A family from church, who have known my dad since they were kids, found this picture of my grandparents, dad, and aunt.  It was probably taken after an area singing in the 1950's.

First Day of 3rd Grade

Both girls reported a great (albeit confusing) first day of school.  Trading classes is a new experience, but they'll get used to it.

Living Room Remodel

This week, our girls are enjoying time with their cousins at Memaw week, so Bryan and I decided it was finally time to paint our living room.  I have never really liked the color we painted it shortly after moving in.  So, after buying several samples, we decided on a color and got to work.  I absolutely love the results!!  I love how the color seems more blue or green or grey depending on the lighting.

 We also found a self adhesive wallpaper to cover the paneling in our shelves.
