Happy 11th Anniversary- at Six Flags!

We are celebrating our 11th anniversary at Six Flags this year.  It started out as a very nice day, but in the mid afternoon a cold front blew in.  Determined to ride all we wanted to, we endured the cold (and slightly shorter lines as a result), and had a great day.

 The cold front blew in while waiting in line for the swings, so Mommy went to get everyone's coats from the lockers and the car.

 The girls loved the Runaway Mine Train, and rode in several times in a row.

Bryan proposed to me on this exact Merry-Go-Round.  It seemed appropriate that it would be our last ride of the day on our anniversary.

 Afterwards we went to a mall for dinner and saw a beautiful Christmas house inside.

Happy Anniversary, Babe!  I love being married to you! Excited to see what God has planned for the rest of our life together.

Christmas Piano Recital 2016

We are so proud of our girls!  Today was their Christmas Piano Recital.  When we arrived, they were happy to learn, they were not first on the program this year, but they were 2nd and 3rd.  

Ella played "It's a Small World" and "Up on the Housetop."

 Followed by Emma playing "Snake Charmer" and "Frosty the Snowman."

Both girls did a fantastic job.  We are so proud of all the hard work they put in to getting ready for this recital.  It really showed.

Thanksgiving: (for some reason I didn't take very many pictures this year)
We spent a couple days at Nana and Papa's, with lunch at Brent and Laura's.  We then went to Childress where we spent the night in a hotel.  The girls loved swimming until Ella got sick.  She was sick all evening, but perfectly fine in the morning.  We went on to Papaw's house for the day before going home.  Good to see extended family.
