A Pirate Halloween

Our pirate family was once again blessed by our church family with a fun and safe evening of games and inflatable games.  I love that our church family provides this every year for our community.  This year, we all dressed up as pirates.  The girls are Izzy from Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and Daddy is the captain while I'm his first mate.

Amazingly Fun Farm Field Trip

What a fun field trip to the Amazingly Fun Farm! For this field trip, I decided to stick with Emma's class since I had been with Ella's class for the last field trip of Kindergarten.  We invited Ella to join us, but after much deliberation, she decided to stay with her own class.  As a result, I didn't get very many pictures of her and her class, but I did get a couple and her teacher sent one of her on the zip line to me as well.  We had fun on the hay bale slide, zip line, corn shucking contest, corn maze (I even led the class through the maze), at the playground, corn shooting, and jumping on the blob.

Soccer- Orange Flames!!

Ella and Emma decided to play soccer this fall instead of taking gymnastics again.  It was a very fun change of pace.  They really liked playing.  They had a great coach, Coach Bryan, who tried to teach them how to play while still making it fun.  There was a child from their school and a friend from church on their team. It was a four week season, and while I didn't keep the score from every game, I think they won more games than they lost.  In the pictures, Ella has on purple soccer socks, and Emma has on pink.

After the final game, which ended in a tie, each child received a medal, a trophy, and a pizza coupon. We also had a little party with cupcakes and drinks.
