Our Precious Girls are turning 3 years old. We had the party the weekend before their actually birthday, and they were so excited about it! They asked for weeks in advance, "Is it my birdday (birthday)?" and "Am I free (3) yet?" so many times, we ended up making a calendar and marking off the days until their birthday party and the actual birthday.
When I asked them what they wanted for their birthday, Emma would count off on her fingers, "Momma, I want candles, bawoons (balloons), pwesents (presents), Dowa (Dora) and birdday cake for my birdday." Ella would usually mention Dora and one or more of the other items on Emma's list, but not the full list and she didn't mark them off on her fingers like Emma did. (Can you tell which of our children is slightly more organized at this age?)
So, a Dora themed party it would be. They received a new Dora dress to wear to the party and loved to spin in it (unfortunately, we didn't catch a picture of that). We invited our close family to the party and celebrated 3 joyful years of life for our little miracle babies.
