A Cowgirl Halloween

Happy Halloween, Y'all!  Ella and Emma decided they wanted to be cowgirls for Halloween this year.  Aren't they just the sweetest lil' cowgirls you've ever seen?!?

Oh, and here's their folks: (picture taken by one of those young cowpokes pictured above)

A couple of days before the actual holiday, we moseyed on over to my folks' church for a Trunk or Treat:

On the actual holiday, we did a little visitin' with Grammie and Grandy before headin' to our congregation for a fall festival.

God provided us with a beautiful orange sunset!

Ella sent her frog a-hoppin' into the bucket

Emma did too

Slidin' with friends

Climbin'

Emma on the BIG slide

Ella on the smaller slide

Ella really preferred the big slide

Emma seemed to prefer the smaller one

We all had a hankerin' good time!

Random Fun Times in October

I wonder what they are talking about
while standing in the rain???
Playing in the rain is SOOOOO much fun when you're 3 years old!
Not sure exactly how Emma did this.
Took her a while to figure out how to get unstuck.

Heading to bed in style.

A few new gymnastics pictures:  (Ella in purple tie dye.  Emma in black with pink heart and sleeves)

"Hi, Mommy!"

Emma left the E off of her name,
but that's pretty close.
Some new writing skills:

I know this picture was actually taken in Nov.
But I wanted to put it with Emma's
And finally, a few pictures from the preschool Halloween party:

Ever Changing Fall Weather

We have been on quite the roller coaster weather pattern lately.  We went from this:

To this:

"Oh, the weather outside is frightful,"
"but the fire is so delightful."

And now back to this:

All in just a few days.  At least it's not boring!
