My favorite picture from the trip! If you look closely, you can see the water from a whale taking a breath in the background. |
This morning we docked in Skagway, Alaska. Another beautiful town filled with great scenery and fun things to do. We slept in a little bit before heading to shore for our Gold Panning, Sled Dogs, and -40 degree experience.

It's much harder than it looks! |
|
Between our four pans we got about $53 in gold! |

An actual Iditarod competitor told us about the race before taking us to see his dogs. |

40 Degrees below Zero, to see what the temperature can be like on the Iditarod race. BRRRRRRRRRR!!! |
After this we walked around town a bit and did some shopping.
The girls got tired of walking and shopping and were so excited when we stumbled upon a park.
We walked back to our ship for dinner.

Bryan and I went to the Country/ Western night, hoping to do some dancing, but were disappointed when the cruise directors did mostly line dances and a silly game with very little dancing.
