Six Flags Fiesta Texas

Let the vacation begin!  We decided to start this vacation off with a bit of craziness.  To get from our home to the beach is about a 13 hour drive.  In order to break that drive up a bit, we decided to stop in San Antonio for a day at Fiesta Texas.  The crazy part- we decided to drive overnight to San Antonio, stop at a rest stop for some sleep in the car, spend the day at the amusement park, then drive the remainder of the way to the beach.
The drive was long, and we stopped around 4:00am about 45 minutes outside San Antonio to try to get some sleep. Bryan saw well over 100 deer along the sides of the road.  Luckily, the girls slept great in the car.  We were up around 6:00am and drove the rest of the way, stopping at an IHOP for breakfast.

Honestly, I was ready for a disastrous day of melt-downs, but it turned out to be just the opposite.  The weather was nice, the lines were short, the girls did amazing, we were able to ride many rides, and a great time was had by all!

Emma sleeping at the rest stop:
Ready to ride some rides:
First roller coaster to ride without an adult (They loved it so much, they rode it 3 times in a row!):
We rode this one twice in a row also!
Exhausted!  Driving on to the beach after a long, fun day! (Emma first, then Ella.)
